400 Westwood is a townhome condominium development in the northern part of central Cobourg. Located near the corner of Burnham St and Westwood Drive, 400 Westwood is a collection of condominium townhomes in a fairly strong location. Within walking distance of many shops, grocery stores and a variety of green spaces, owners at 400 Westwood have the ability to take advantage of many local amenities. Originally built in the early 1990s, the buildings are no longer considered new, however they still seem to have been kept in fairly good shape and most units generally seem to have some level of upgrades and finishes.
Being that it’s a condominium, all upgrades and finishes generally need to be approved by the board of directors, things such as cabinetry, flooring and changes to the structure of the suites require board approval. Items such as painting, appliances and minor upgrades generally do not require board approval. Also, given that it’s a condominium corporation, there will be monthly condominium fees to be considered.
400 Westwood is one of the better entry points for those looking for home ownership options within Cobourg given its fairly affordable pricing and suites that generally need fairly little in the way of upgrades or costs once moved in.
